Cowlitz County Fire District 1 is seeking motivated and community-driven individuals to apply for its Resident Intern Firefighter Program. This program is designed to provide a structured pathway into the fire service by combining hands-on emergency response experience with professional training and certification.

This is a unique opportunity for individuals from Cowlitz County, Clark County, and surrounding areas to gain the skills, experience, and qualifications necessary to pursue a full-time career in the fire service—without leaving their home community.
