Our seasonal crew operates from late spring through the summer months. Work daily as a member of Cowlitz 1 Fire District responding to local calls and maintaining vehicles and equipment. When duty calls, travel out on mobilization efforts to combat wildland fires in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Gain valuable experience in the Fire Service and graduate to different levels within the wildland firefighting field.
We are now accepting applications for the 2026 fire season.
Minimum qualifications: Red card- FF2
Desired qualifications: EVIP, EMT, Engine boss
